About the Role

Axient is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Warfare Analyst Support Specialist to join our team at the Headquarters of the United States Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategy, Integration and Requirements in Washington DC.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in irregular warfare and irregular warfare-related issues, with a proven track record of applying that expertise to implement high-level strategic guidance, including the National Defense Strategy and National Military Strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic and operational SME level support in irregular warfare and irregular warfare-related issues to the Strategy Division (A5SS)
  • Support the Joint Strategic Planning System (JSPS) and provide recommendations and decision-quality products for senior USAF leaders
  • Lead quantitative and qualitative analysis on a wide range of relevant topics, and prepare bullet background papers, briefings, and decision aids using strategic planning tools
  • Assist in task and workflow management
Requirements
  • Masters Degree
  • Three (3) years of current experience within the last five (5) years in irregular warfare and irregular warfare-related issues
  • Experience in applying irregular warfare expertise to implement high-level strategic guidance, including the National Defense Strategy and National Military Strategy
  • Excellent communications skills in terms of writing, presenting, and conflict resolution
  • Clearance Required: TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility
