Position Summary:The Policy Services Assistant plays a crucial role in the Account Services Department, ensuring that policies are managed efficiently from inception to completion. This department serves as a vital link between Claims, Underwriting, and our partners.
With a variety of responsibilities ranging from service rating to operational audits, our team offers numerous opportunities for specialization and skill enhancement. Collaborating closely with team leaders, you will benefit from extensive cross-training and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer support for the Account Services Department, including assisting clients through phone interactions.
- Distribute essential documents to clients and generate state-required posting notices.
- Monitor, prioritize, and route policy transactions and service requests, ensuring accurate data entry into our systems.
- Manage incoming and returned mail in accordance with departmental policies.
- Oversee the ordering of supplies and materials necessary for state poster notices.
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree or 1-2 years of office experience is preferred.
Required Skills:- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to take direction from various sources.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
Familiarity with Microsoft Suite is advantageous. It is essential to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of information in accordance with Safety National's policies and standards.
Compensation and Benefits:Safety National is dedicated to providing fair and competitive compensation, with a target salary range of $39,000 to $55,000 based on the candidate's qualifications and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes healthcare coverage, a 401(k) match, incentive bonuses, and generous paid leave options.
