Job Description

**Job Summary:**

The Music Industry Operations Coordinator will serve as a critical link between the A&R department and the company's broader operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functions. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the tracking and management of delivery paperwork to ensure accurate distribution of audio files and coordination of accounts payable activities.
  • Collaborate with the A&R department to ensure projects meet delivery deadlines during the recording process.
  • Book studio sessions and coordinate travel for artist projects as needed.
  • Administer and analyze recording budgets across various music genres, providing recommendations for adjustments as necessary.
  • Work with the finance department to manage the accounts payable process for recording budgets, ensuring timely payments and accuracy.
  • Gather necessary sample and side artist paperwork to ensure music clearance for release.
  • Liaise with senior management, A&R teams, and the artist team to explore and develop partnership opportunities, ensuring alignment with creative plans.
  • Set up recording and mastering sessions in collaboration with A&R, coordinating with studio engineers and talent.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping for all documentation related to projects.
  • Collect, deliver, and vault audio masters for each project.
  • Collaborate with the production department on label copy preparation, editing, and packaging approval.
  • Deliver final audio files and metadata to the Production Department, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion, maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders throughout the recording process.

Work Environment: This role is in-person in West Hollywood, CA.
