Job Summary:

The Fitness Specialist will work under the supervision of the Wellness Director to build relationships with members, provide guidance on safe and effective fitness practices, and ensure a positive experience for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Building – Develop authentic relationships within the Y, fostering growth in member engagement and revenue.
  • Personal Growth – Maintain emotional maturity and interpersonal skills, committed to personal growth and skill acquisition.
  • Operations & Safety – Understand diverse health needs, adjust activities accordingly, and ensure a clean and well-maintained Wellness Center.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a fitness facility or customer service.
  • Complete a Personal Trainer Certification or Foundations of Strength and Conditioning within 90 days.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, including language proficiency (English preferred).
  • Exhibit excellent customer service, discretion, and judgment.
