Program Manager Role

The Program Manager for global ERP implementation supports senior leadership in developing, classifying, leading and executing corporate programs and projects, including the dependencies and conflicts between them. This is a hybrid role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a single point of contact for all aspects of the assigned programs and projects, interacting as necessary with team members and stakeholders at all levels of management.
  • Work with key stakeholders in the divisions, entities and functions to define full program scope and lead the operational planning and project management for assigned projects at a program level.
  • Establish meeting agendas, facilitate team discussions, and drive clear and timely team actions and decisions.
  • Proactively address barriers and risks to program progress, keeping leadership informed of critical considerations.
  • Lead and facilitate team discussion and documentation of new information, including pros, cons, and risks.
  • Ensure that program deliverables are achieved on or ahead of schedule, within budget, and with quality that meets or exceeds business needs.
  • Work with project teams and leadership to aggregate and synthesize program KPIs and organizational metrics.
  • Manage scheduled and ad-hoc program status reporting.

Qualifications:
  • B.S. Degree or experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable background.
  • A minimum of 10 years project management experience or leadership capacity handling multiple projects.
  • Experience with managing and directing project team members towards a defined objective.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of software tools.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:
  • Attends and leads various strategic and informational meetings.
  • Works under general office environmental conditions.
  • Requires close visual acuity when working with computers, etc.
  • Requires occasional early morning or late evening teleconferences.
  • Domestic and global travel as required.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand for extended periods.
  • The employee is occasionally required to walk and stoop, kneel or crouch.
