Clinical Leadership Position

The Indiana University School of Medicine - Northwest Gary is seeking a highly qualified Associate Center Director to join their team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a clinical leader to serve as part of the senior leadership team for IUSM Educational Affairs and IUSM's Regional Campus System.
Key Responsibilities
The Associate Center Director will be responsible for:
- Serving as part of the Leadership Team for IUSM-NW
- Participating in the senior leadership team for IUSM Educational Affairs and IUSM's Regional Campus System, supporting a "One IUSM approach"
- Working in collaboration with the Interim Associate Dean and Director of the Northwest campus to ensure an on-campus schedule that allows students, faculty, and staff daily access to campus leaders
Education and Curriculum
The Associate Center Director will assist in expanding and strengthening the educational program for our students, participate in overseeing the curriculum and co-curricular experiences of the students, and oversee continuous quality improvement of the clinical education program at IUSM - NW.
Faculty Affairs
The Associate Center Director will assist in the supervision of the faculty and staff of IUSM - NW, help ensure the availability of effective mentoring programs for faculty at all levels, and encourage faculty to pursue professional development opportunities in the areas of teaching, research, and service.
Administration
The Associate Center Director will ensure compliance with IU policies and procedures, ensure sound financial stewardship of IUSM - NW, and serve as an inspirational leader for IUSM by bringing values of innovation, scholarship, and a positive work environment to our campus.
Requirements
A doctorate or terminal degree is required, and minimum qualifications include an MD, DO, or equivalent. Academic appointment type is clinical, rank will be determined based on academic credentials. The individual selected for this position is a leader with exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills and demonstrate a strong commitment to upholding our core values, including promoting health equity and wellbeing.
