Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Systems Design Engineer to join our team at Teledyne FLIR LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, planning, and designing mechanical and electromechanical products and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical and electromechanical products and systems
  • Research and analyze customer and market needs to determine feasibility of design or application
  • Plan and direct fabrication activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications
  • Evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • More than 6 years of directly related experience and/or training
  • Preferred qualifications include double major or minor in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering, Mechanical Systems Engineering experience, and experience in instrumentation design
