Mechanical Systems Designer

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Systems Designer to join our team at Teledyne. As a Mechanical Systems Designer, you will be responsible for researching, planning, and designing mechanical and electromechanical products and systems.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Researches and analyzes data to determine feasibility of design or application
* Designs products or systems such as instruments, controls, machines, and mechanical, thermal, or heat transfer subsystems
* Directs and coordinates fabrication activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications
* Evaluates field installations and recommends design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
* >2 years of directly related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Double major or minor in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering
* Mechanical Systems Engineering experience
* Fluid management (pumps and valves) and X,Y,Z motion mechanical system experience
* Experience in instrumentation design
* Regulated industry experience
* Project Management training/experience
