Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Systems Designer to join our team at Teledyne FLIR LLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical and electromechanical products and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical and electromechanical products and systems
  • Research and analyze data to determine feasibility of design or application
  • Plan and direct fabrication activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications
  • Evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • More than 2 years of directly related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Preferred: Double major or minor in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering, Mechanical Systems Engineering experience, Fluid management and X,Y,Z motion mechanical system experience, Experience in instrumentation design, Regulated industry experience, Project Management training/experience
