Position Overview

The organization is looking for a proficient and committed Automation Control Systems Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the programming, upkeep, and enhancement of PLC control systems to optimize operational processes. Your expertise will be vital in diagnosing system malfunctions, executing upgrades, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations. Effective collaboration with other engineering teams will be crucial for the successful integration of automation solutions throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

● Develop and program PLC control systems for diverse operational processes to enhance automation and efficiency.

● Diagnose and rectify issues related to PLC hardware and software to ensure system dependability.

● Perform routine maintenance and implement enhancements to automation systems to boost productivity.

● Formulate and execute control strategies aimed at maximizing system performance and output.

● Create policies and procedures to guarantee compliance with safety standards and regulations.

● Work alongside other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of PLC systems with current infrastructure.

● Draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the operation and maintenance of PLC systems.

Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

● Minimum of 3 years of experience in PLC programming and control system design.

● Familiarity with leading PLC brands (e.g., Siemens, Schneider, Omron) and programming languages.

● Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and BIM software.

● Capability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for addressing complex technical challenges and proposing effective solutions.

● Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

● Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results on time.

● Full-time availability with regular in-person attendance is essential for this role.
