Position Overview

As an Automation Systems Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of control systems. Your responsibilities will include creating troubleshooting tools, engineering upgrades for control hardware and software, and ensuring the optimal functionality of equipment. Additionally, you will provide training to maintenance personnel, conduct preventative maintenance, uphold specification standards, and repair as well as troubleshoot control systems. A strong emphasis on safety awareness is essential, along with the capability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure environments.

Compensation and Work Schedule

  • Standard first shift work hours.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in programming Allen Bradley/Rockwell and Siemens PLC/HMI software.
  • Familiarity with Industrial Networking protocols (Ethernet I/P, Device Net, Profibus, ControlNet).
  • Expertise in AutoCAD Electrical for the creation of schematics, panel layouts, and bills of materials.
  • Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and Servo drive systems.
  • Ability to interpret and understand electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints.
