About the Job

Job Title: Building Management Systems Engineer

Job Summary: VJ Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Building Management Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Building Management Systems Engineer at VJ Technologies, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining building management systems to ensure efficient performance and energy savings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Building Management Systems: Develop and implement building management systems that integrate HVAC, utility equipment, fire alarm, security, and other building systems.
  • Monitor and Optimize System Performance: Monitor and adjust system settings to enhance performance and energy efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve building management system-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
  • Develop and Enforce Policies: Develop and enforce policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide Leadership and Training: Provide leadership and training to a diverse team, offering guidance, technical support, and SOPs for building management system management and operations.
  • Evaluate and Implement Upgrades: Evaluate and implement upgrades and enhancements to improve building management system functionality and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in building system management and integration.
  • Skills and Abilities: Well-versed in building management systems, components, and integration techniques. Proficiency in building management system software and programming. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to move around work sites, which may include walking, standing, and climbing ladders or stairs. Flexibility to bend, kneel, or crouch, particularly when inspecting installations or troubleshooting. Capability to lift and carry moderate weights, typically up to 25-50 pounds.
