Openings: 4 total openings – 2 for Entry level (1-4 years of experience) and 2 for Senior (5+ years of experience)

Salary: Depends on experience (12 Months base + 1 month bonus)

  • Entry Level - $85,000 to $110,000 per year
  • Senior Level - $120,000 to $160,000 per year

Note: Must have legal authorization to work in the United States. No Corp-to-Corp (C2C/C2H) or Visa sponsorship provided.

Travel: This role requires travel to the China Headquarters for 2 weeks of training. Candidates must be comfortable with this requirement, and assistance with Visa arrangements will be provided.

Job Overview:

In response to the growing demand for electric vehicles in the U.S. automotive sector, we are looking for skilled and committed IT Systems Engineers. This position is crucial for overseeing and enhancing our manufacturing systems. The selected candidates will be responsible for delivering on-site support, training production staff, and addressing technical challenges within manufacturing execution systems (MES), master production scheduling (MPS), advanced planning and scheduling (APS), and other related IT frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on-site assistance for production line activities, ensuring minimal interruptions and prompt resolution of technical challenges.
  • Educate production personnel on the effective use of manufacturing systems and IT tools to boost operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Diagnose and rectify issues in MES, quality systems, and material systems to ensure seamless production flow.
  • Evaluate business needs and suggest enhancements to manufacturing modules, thereby improving productivity and achieving operational objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to align IT systems with manufacturing processes and uphold company standards.
  • Oversee and optimize master production scheduling (MPS) and advanced planning and scheduling (APS) systems to enhance production timelines and resource allocation.
  • Lead initiatives to upgrade and refine manufacturing systems, ensuring they remain scalable and responsive to changing business demands.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and implementing manufacturing systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in deploying and supporting manufacturing systems, including MES, MPS, and APS.
  • Strong technical skills in troubleshooting and optimizing IT systems within a manufacturing context.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA, and other industrial automation technologies is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to assess complex data for operational enhancements.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with robust organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
  • Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance is essential for this role.
  • Professional interaction with individuals of varied backgrounds and skill levels is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to navigate work sites, which may involve walking, standing, and climbing.
  • Flexibility to bend, kneel, or crouch, especially when inspecting installations or troubleshooting.
  • Capability to lift and carry moderate weights, typically up to 25-50 pounds.
  • Occasional lifting of heavier items may be necessary.
  • Ability to work in diverse environments, including offices, construction sites, and manufacturing facilities.
  • Willingness to travel to various job sites, which may involve driving or other transportation methods.
