Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom is in search of a dedicated Equipment Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the operational excellence of our advanced manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute a thorough preventive maintenance strategy for electrical systems within process equipment.
  • Manage and supervise maintenance operations to guarantee timely and effective execution.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to PLCs, motors, sensors, wiring, robotics, frequency converters, and servo systems.
  • Enhance the reliability and performance of electrical systems through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and resolve software and hardware issues affecting process equipment.
  • Diagnose and rectify problems in visual systems, including circuits and CCD cameras.
  • Optimize visual inspection systems to improve accuracy and dependability.
  • Source and manage spare parts for electrical, computer, and visual systems to maintain essential inventory levels, minimizing downtime.
  • Develop training programs aimed at elevating the electrical competencies of maintenance personnel.
  • Conduct safety evaluations on process equipment to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Perform electrical debugging and verification as required.
  • Propose and implement enhancements to boost operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing context.
  • Experience in equipment and electrical development and debugging in relevant industries is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the principles of electrical systems, computer systems, or vision systems.
  • Proficient in visual inspection systems and associated technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of addressing complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative spirit to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, committed to delivering high-quality results on time.
  • Willingness to travel for training purposes.
