The primary function of this role involves the administration and upkeep of all systems related to our solar energy facilities. The specialist will ensure that data storage and communication systems are effectively managed and maintained, aligning with corporate standards for security and confidentiality.

The I.T. Infrastructure Specialist collaborates with various teams, including Networking, Infrastructure, and Security, to uphold and implement necessary disaster recovery and contingency plans. This role serves as the main liaison for all vendors and service providers concerning hardware and software needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support enterprise-level services such as SAP, Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, VoIP, and PI Datalink, acting as the initial point of contact for site personnel.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, analyze, and report on all systems mentioned, providing recommendations and executing necessary services.
  • Implement software and hardware modifications as required.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating and maintaining MS Windows-based systems and MS Office applications.
  • Integrate automation peripherals, including fieldbuses.
  • Engage with site personnel, vendors, and IT teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all operational standards and requirements.
  • Promote and support safety and environmental initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in an IT support role.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to interpret complex customer specifications and develop relevant proposals.
  • Working knowledge of control systems.
  • Capability to read P&ID diagrams, loop drawings, and functional logic diagrams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
