Position Overview

This role is pivotal in overseeing initiatives related to Product Sustainability and supporting various functions within the team. Responsibilities include managing new product introductions, data gathering, report generation, and other essential tasks to ensure the effectiveness of the Product Sustainability team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and implement multiple projects concurrently while ensuring precision and timely completion.
  • Update project deliverables within the Product Development Process (PDP) and Detail Development Process (DDP).
  • Assist the Sustainability Strategist in developing Product Sustainability content for various documentation, including environmental reports.
  • Lead the company's Safer Materials initiative for the Product Sustainability team.
  • Conduct assessments for products lacking an assigned NPI Category Lead.
  • Support the LCA Lead/Expert with necessary data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Facilitate information exchange with other teams as required regarding Product Sustainability.
  • Continuously evaluate processes and identify opportunities for enhancing tools and methodologies related to Product Sustainability.
  • Engage in additional projects vital to the success of the Product Sustainability team as they emerge.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in sustainability is required.
  • Proficiency in sustainability data management is essential.
  • Experience with sustainability tools or software is necessary.
The anticipated compensation range for this position is $45.50 to $50.50 per hour, based on various factors including education, relevant work experience, certifications, and location.
