Job Summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Manager to join our team in Seattle, WA. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive sustainability strategies that align with our company's goals and values.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sustainability initiatives that reduce our environmental footprint and promote sustainable practices throughout our operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into our business operations and supply chain.
  • Conduct regular sustainability compliance evaluations and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Monitor and report on key sustainability metrics and performance indicators.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as environmental science, sustainability, or business.
  • 5-10 years of experience in sustainability, environmental compliance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainability principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Certifications in sustainability, such as LEED AP or CEM.
  • Experience with sustainability software and tools.
