Principal Environmental Project Manager

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Energy Transition team to support and grow our expanding business in the Western U.S. across a range of sectors, including linear utilities, oil and gas, rail and transit, mining and renewable energies.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead diverse teams of biologists, cultural resource specialists, planners, engineers, and other technical specialists to successfully execute environmental permitting projects for oil and gas, linear utilities, mining, renewable energy, and rail clients.
- Develop permitting strategies and coordinate with clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Provide senior-level quality assurance/quality control for client deliverables, including agency consultations and permit applications.
- Support and/or manage the growth of new and existing client relationships in conjunction with business development leaders and account leaders.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, or similar environmental discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience managing environmental permitting projects in the western United States in the environmental consulting industry.
- Experience leading teams and working in collaboration with biologists, cultural resource specialists, planners, and other specialists in developing high-quality documents for environmental projects.
- Proven project manager with experience estimating and managing costs and delivery of environmental planning projects.
- Experience working with the U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Bureau of Land Management, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and western state agencies in the preparation of environmental documents and reports.
