Medline Industries is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our Post-Acute Care Division. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling clinical and operational solutions to healthcare providers across the long-term care and homecare industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities in the post-acute care market, including long-term care facilities, home health and hospice agencies, and medical equipment providers.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a sales strategy to sell Medline's products and services to all levels of decision makers, including owners, senior clinical officers, and purchasing managers.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a strong knowledge base about Medline's product catalog and value-added programs and services.
  • Relationship Building: Develop meaningful relationships with new customers and deepen relationships with existing ones.
  • Cold Calling and Prospecting: Conduct cold calling and prospecting to develop new business opportunities.
  • Presentations and Education: Present new products and initiatives, educate customers on current industry trends and regulations, and prepare bids and negotiate contracts.
  • Territory Management: Take ownership and leadership of your territory, growing it like your own business.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of quota-based sales experience, or at least 5 years of quota-based sales experience.
  • Sales Experience: Proven ability to sell effectively to different levels within a customer organization, identify, connect with, and close new business, and build consensus.
  • Complex Sales Strategy: Complex sales strategy/approach to sell solutions across multiple levels.
  • Product Sales: Background in commissioned, tangible product sales.
  • Sales Growth: Track record of demonstrable sales growth and quota attainment.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Computer Proficiency: Computer proficiency, especially in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to drive a car, travel in that car 90% of each day, and interact with healthcare providers on site.
