Job Overview

Position Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous and organized Office Accounting Specialist to become a vital part of our team at Savia USA. This role is essential for the precise and timely management of our financial documentation across various entities within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting functions for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Execute comprehensive bookkeeping duties, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and generating financial statements.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to guarantee accurate reporting and ledger upkeep.
  • Evaluate financial data and summaries to aid managerial decision-making.
  • Prepare and coordinate internal financial statements and reports, emphasizing variances and identifying trends.
  • Assist in budget preparation, forecasts, and financial planning as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments to facilitate financial audits and ensure the integrity of financial information.
  • Establish and uphold internal control procedures to manage office expenditures, revenues, and assets.
  • Stay informed about accounting policies, industry trends, and tax regulations that impact the organization.
  • Utilize accounting software and systems for effective financial management and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an accounting capacity, preferably with a focus on managing accounts for multiple entities.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation methods.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively, handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with all levels of staff and management.
