Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute installations, repairs, testing, and maintenance of assigned projects;
  • Conduct inspections and testing of sprinkler systems in accordance with company protocols, industry standards, contractual obligations, and legal requirements;
  • Act as the primary contact for internal and external clients regarding sprinklers, extinguishers, back-flows, emergency lighting, and fire alarm service requests;
  • Evaluate bids for quality assurance and provide recommendations to management;
  • Timely report deficiencies to avert further repairs;
  • Organize appointments, including service work orders, to meet customer needs and achieve program objectives;
  • Deliver customer training as necessary;
  • Fulfill on-call responsibilities as outlined by contractual obligations and management;
  • Ensure accuracy and promptness in all service, testing, inspection correspondence, work orders, and related documentation;
  • Perform administrative tasks as required to complete projects;
  • Provide exceptional customer service and represent Evergreen Fire and Security professionally;
  • Adhere to all applicable state and federal regulations concerning service, installation, and maintenance of systems, including OSHA safety standards;
  • Maintain vehicle, uniform, and tools in accordance with company policy;
  • Complete all paperwork related to service orders and projects accurately;
  • Install conduit as necessary;
  • Educate customers on the use of all relevant products for installation and/or upgrades;
  • Travel as required;
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times;
  • Uphold confidentiality at all times;
  • Perform additional duties as assigned within qualifications.

Essential Qualifications:

  • NICET II - Fire Alarms or higher certification
  • NICET II - Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Mandatory participation in on-call roster for after-hours service calls, with on-call compensation provided

Preferred Qualifications:

  • U.S. government clearance may be necessary
  • Seattle FA-01 Card is preferred
  • Manufacturer certifications for fire alarm systems
  • Backflow Assembly Tester Certification

Compensation range is $35 - $60 per hour for well-qualified candidates.
