Lead Bartending Supervisor

As the Lead Bartending Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate all bar activities to establish the premier bar experience in the area. Your leadership will foster a team of bartenders dedicated to delivering prompt service and expertly crafted beverages consistently. You will enhance the guest experience through responsible alcohol service while managing costs, production, and quality of beverages. Additionally, you will drive sales through local marketing strategies that attract guests.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing and Promotions
Utilize local marketing strategies to boost sales as outlined in operational guidelines.
Identify opportunities for operational improvements to enhance sales and manage expenses; develop and implement effective plans.
Stay informed about competitors' initiatives to maintain a competitive edge.
Collaborate with bartenders and key staff to promote local events and special offers.
Team Development
Recruit, train, and develop team members through ongoing feedback and coaching, setting clear performance expectations and conducting regular evaluations.
Ensure that all new hires complete their training plans, including necessary documentation.
Inspire and elevate team morale by exemplifying professional conduct.
Maintain an accurate staffing plan and prepare schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
Daily Operations
Manage bar operations during scheduled shifts, making daily decisions, supporting staff, interacting with guests, and ensuring adherence to standards of quality and cleanliness.
Proactively anticipate guest needs and engage with them to ensure a memorable experience, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly.
Operational Excellence
Guarantee beverage quality by upholding high standards of cleanliness, organization, and sanitation.
Monitor bar operations closely and address any discrepancies immediately.
Oversee purchasing, receiving, and storage of beverage products, ensuring compliance with local suppliers and minimizing waste.
Efficiently manage inventory in a cost-effective manner and understand all bar equipment operations and maintenance.
Prepare the bar for outstanding service, ensuring all products, equipment, and ambiance are ready.
In the absence of upper management, assume responsibility for the overall operation of the establishment.
Implement security measures to protect team members, guests, and company assets.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred, with relevant coursework
At least 6 months of management experience in a restaurant setting
A minimum of 2 years of experience in bar operations with comprehensive knowledge
Experience in purchasing and production is essential
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 10 hours)
Frequent bending and lifting (up to 30 lbs.) required
Proficient in English, both written and verbal
Ability to communicate effectively in a noisy environment.
