Overview
- In the role of Facilities Services Manager-SR, you will support the Government in overseeing a variety of functions including dining services, parking management, event coordination, construction oversight, external facility support, travel arrangements, security operations, cleaning services, and additional projects. A current Top Secret clearance along with a Full-Scope Polygraph is a prerequisite for candidates.
- Oversee dining services, parking management, event coordination, travel arrangements, security operations, cleaning services, and additional projects for the Government.
- Deliver comprehensive customer service regarding facilities-related inquiries, efficiently resolving customer issues.
- Support various dining service initiatives for the Government.
- Ensure adherence to the Randolph-Shephard Act.
- Facilitate facilities-related support for events and conferences at multiple venues.
- Organize the provision of specialized equipment, cleaning services, and security operations.
- Provide project management support for construction, events, and related initiatives.
- Evaluate and provide feedback on the quality of cleaning services from external vendors.
- Prepare and coordinate official travel logistics for government personnel and contractors.
- Assist with logistical support, invoice processing, and validation tasks.
- Coordinate travel logistics for both domestic and international assignments.
- Verify clearances, accesses, and certifications, scheduling necessary appointments and training.
- Manage the parking administration program, including the assignment and distribution of permits.
- Assist senior management with scheduling and calendar management.
- Engage in specialized training programs and serve as a Permit Authorizing Individual.
- Education / Certifications: Bachelor's degree in any discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: At least eight (8) years of experience in managing services and support operations.
- Skills & Technology Used: Strong problem-solving capabilities, excellent communication skills, and effective leadership and project management abilities.
- Supervisory/Budgetary Responsibilities: Lead and supervise a team of Facilities Service Managers, manage projects, brief senior leadership, mentor junior staff, and ensure financial accuracy.
- Other Requirements: Capability to operate in sensitive environments, proficiency with office equipment, adaptability to varying weather conditions, and ability to lift weights overhead.
