This role will be pivotal in advancing the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process maturity, streamlining workflows, and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and compliance.

The Procurement Director will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements, develop sourcing strategies, and manage supplier relationships.

Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Planning:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategic sourcing plans
  • Identify new suppliers, products, and services to optimize procurement

Contract Negotiation and Vendor Management:

  • Lead contract negotiations with suppliers and vendors
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers

Procurement Process Management:

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs

Spend Analysis and Cost Savings:

  • Analyze spend data and provide regular reports
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and optimization

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Manage and mentor the procurement team
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence

Blackstone Consulting seeks a seasoned procurement professional with 5+ years of progressive procurement experience and at least 2 years in a leadership role. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of procurement best practices, processes, and technologies, as well as excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Additional requirements include proficiency in procurement technologies and tools, such as e-Procurement systems, spend analysis, and contract management software, as well as strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
