Job Title: Distribution Center Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Distribution Center Operations Manager to join our team at American Tire Distributors. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our warehouse and transportation operations, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of warehouse and transportation teams, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a warehouse or transportation environment.
  • Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
