Job Summary

As a Facilities Engineer with Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital, you will be responsible for performing various activities of complex nature, including the installation, operation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of boilers, hydronic boilers, boiler auxiliaries, diesel generators, electrical distribution and controls, pneumatic tube system, sterilizers, laundry equipment, facilities equipment, pumps, compressors, air handling equipment, chillers, refrigeration systems, nurse call system, patient care equipment, kitchen equipment, automatic doors, fire alarm systems, snow removal equipment, and hospital vehicles. You will also be responsible for ordering parts as needed and performing all work as assigned.

Responsibilities

* Perform complex maintenance and repair activities on various equipment and systems
* Order parts and materials as needed
* Perform all work as assigned by management

Requirements

* National Boiler Operator Grade II License - State County City Trade License Authority within 3 years of hire -OR- National Boiler Operator Grade I License - State County City Trade License Authority within 3 years of hire
* 4 years of experience
