As a Field Sales Support Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to assist our Outside Sales Representatives in promoting and selling a variety of construction supplies, including hardware, building materials, and lumber.
Key Responsibilities:- Acquire a comprehensive understanding of our product offerings, operational procedures, corporate culture, and customer service ethos.
- Support contractor sales personnel with daily operational tasks.
- Accurately process receiving documents and reconcile invoices for timely payments.
- Professionally handle incoming calls and provide assistance to customers.
- Listen attentively to customer needs and provide appropriate support.
- Assist with the delivery of products when necessary.
- High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Prior experience in construction or sales is advantageous.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Physical capability to lift and transport items weighing up to 80 pounds.
- A strong desire for professional growth and learning.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive professional relationships with clients.
- Quick problem-solving skills with a professional response to challenges.
- Proficiency in operating office equipment; experience with Excel is preferred.
- A friendly, outgoing demeanor with a passion for customer interaction.
- A positive, energetic attitude and strong communication skills.
Compensation: $25.00 per hour plus commission.
