The Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) cater to a diverse range of surgical and cardiovascular patients.
As a Registered Nurse (RN), your responsibilities will include delivering direct nursing care, monitoring patient health, executing and assessing care plans, administering medications and treatments, and keeping accurate patient records.
Within this nursing team, you will find a culture of support and appreciation for your expertise, alongside access to cutting-edge technology and research, ensuring that every patient receives top-tier care.
A caregiver in this position will work Night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care to patients.
- Develop, monitor, and update patient care plans.
- Document and communicate patients' conditions effectively.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately.
- Execute physician and nursing orders diligently.
- Assess and coordinate discharge needs for patients.
- Provide education to patients and their families.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- A minimum of one year of recent acute care RN experience, including military RN experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Physical Requirements:
- Requires full body motion, including lifting and handling patients, along with manual dexterity.
- Involves standing and walking for extended periods.
- Requires corrected vision and hearing within normal ranges.
- Must be able to work under stress and during irregular hours.
- Exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids is possible.
- Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently.

- Adheres to standard precautions using personal protective equipment as necessary.
