Job Description:
The RN Mental Health provides direct and indirect nursing care by conducting assessments, determining priorities, and identifying nursing measures and therapeutic objectives. This role requires proficiency in functions such as scrub nursing and circulating nursing during procedures, ADL assistance, medication and IV therapy administration, and documentation of the plan of care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to determine patient needs
- Determine priorities and develop effective care plans
- Administer medications and IV therapy as needed
- Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare team
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in Nursing
- At least one full year of professional nursing experience
- A minimum of 24 months of experience in a Mental Health environment during the last 36 months
- A current, valid, unrestricted nursing license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
