Job Overview

As a Document Controls Specialist at EXP, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our engineering projects. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate the electronic, printing, and distribution process for engineering drawings and documents. This includes performing basic system maintenance, managing access requests, and maintaining a computer database of all filed documentation for fast retrieval of documents.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the electronic, printing, and distribution process for engineering drawings and documents
Perform basic system maintenance and access requests
Maintain a computer database of all filed documentation for fast retrieval of documents
Organize and set up new projects with approved directories and appropriate security levels
Work with Project Managers, Engineering Managers, and Engineering teams to structure document and submittal logs with the proper reviewers/approvers and due dates
Monitor and follow up on past due document and submittal deliverables
Produce weekly and monthly information/document management reports
Perform other administrative functions as required

Requirements

Quality control of own work
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Ability to perform assigned responsibilities with minimal to moderate supervision
Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously
Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience in document control applications required
Intermediate level proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel required
Experience in SharePoint, Wrench, Aconex desirable
