Medical Care Associate

We are seeking a skilled Medical Care Associate to join our team at Lifespan Corporation.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care and support services in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key responsibilities include collaborating with Registered Nurses, performing personal care skills, assisting therapists, maintaining a safe environment, recognizing and reporting signs and symptoms, and accurately documenting patient data.
Requirements- Current Rhode Island license as a Nursing Assistant
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Ability to perform basic computer skills
- Certified in American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
The Medical Care Associate will work in a variety of healthcare settings, including acute care hospitals, physicians' offices, and ancillary healthcare enterprises. The role requires prolonged sitting, standing, and walking, as well as repeated bending, squatting, and stooping. Lifting and turning patients may be required.
Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience. Lifespan Corporation offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
