This position requires adherence to a retail schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will report to your Store Manager and take guidance from the Assistant Store Manager and other team specialists.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Articulate and demonstrate product features while providing recommendations based on customer preferences.
  • Achieve or surpass targets related to customer experience, sales, and retention.
  • Assist with the opening and closing procedures of the retail environment.
  • Manage cash transactions accurately.
  • Participate in workshops, special events, and product demonstrations.
  • Support fellow sales agents as needed.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of current Cox products and competitor offerings through regular training sessions.
  • May be required to work in other locations within the same geographical area.

What We Offer:

As part of a customer loyalty-driven team, you can expect a variable targeted total compensation of $50,146 ($16.73/hr.), with top earners (the top 10%) averaging over $64,472 ($31.13/hr.). Compensation may vary based on factors including location, candidate experience level, and successful completion of minimum sales targets. The compensation package includes a full-time hourly base rate of $16.73/hr. plus monthly targeted commissions of $1,279. Employees also benefit from a ramp period of up to 2 months to adjust to commission earnings.

Qualifications:
Minimum:
  • High school diploma/GED or up to 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively sell products using a consultative, solutions-based approach.
  • Ability to build relationships and adapt to a diverse customer base.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, service-oriented team environment.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift 25-50 pounds to assist with inventory management.
Preferred:
  • Some college experience focusing on sales, business, or management.
  • One year of experience in a related field (e.g., Sales, Retail Sales, Service Industry).
  • Experience selling Wireless/Mobile products.
  • Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken.
