Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Specialist, Inventory Planner to join our team at DSV A/S. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management processes, providing exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze replenishment data to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts
  • Generate reports and export data to Excel for further analysis
  • Initiate, review, and process purchase requisitions to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Manage inventory levels and planning to match forecast demand with on-hand, on-order, or in-transit quantities
  • Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, and suppliers to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Act as the primary customer contact for forecast, new part adds, Min/Max levels, reorder points, backorders, and obsolescence
  • Collaborate with warehouse, shipping, and receiving staff to process material returns and repairs
  • Inform buyers, site leads, and managers of material shortages that may cause out-of-stock or machine-down situations
  • Coordinate and perform cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Research and reconcile inventory inaccuracies
  • Maintain accurate and timely data in the ERP system, including master records and BOMs
  • Manage material quality issues and provide strategic analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives
  • Identify and develop material savings projects to generate cost savings and efficiency improvements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 2 years of professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Three (3) years of industry experience in a direct or cross-functional capacity
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of planning experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment
Work Environment

This role requires working in a dynamic team environment with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, energetic, and able to perform with little supervision. The physical demands of this job include using computer and telephone equipment, regularly lifting and/or moving objects up to 10 pounds, and specific vision requirements.
