Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with our menu offerings, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Service Standards: Maintain high standards of service, ensuring prompt and attentive service to all guests.
  • Order Taking: Accurately take orders in our Point of Sale system and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
  • Product Knowledge: Suggest menu items and alternatives to enhance the guest experience.
  • Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
  • Drink Preparation: Prepare espresso drinks and other beverages to order, adhering to our recipes and quality standards.
  • Station Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, restocking supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with our back-of-house team to ensure seamless service and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Guest Communication: Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Physical Demands: Meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for long periods, lifting up to 35 pounds, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant or related environment, with a strong background in customer service.
  • Barista Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a barista, with a strong understanding of coffee preparation and presentation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing circumstances.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in math and basic computer skills.
