Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Activities Manager to join our team at Pyramid Global Hospitality. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing recreational programs and activities for our guests of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement recreational programs, including individual and team activities, indoor and outdoor games, and special events for guests.
  • Manage pool activities and supplies, ensuring a safe and clean environment for guests.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and preventive maintenance of equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with hotel standards.
  • Issue and maintain inventory for recreational equipment and supplies, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Coordinate social events and activities, working closely with other departments to meet guest needs.
  • Enter guest information into the computer system, accurately posting charges and credits as needed.
  • Anticipate and handle guest issues and concerns, providing exceptional customer service and resolving problems promptly.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel features, services, and amenities, including hours of operation and outlet information.
  • Practice emergency procedures, including CPR and First Aid, and assist in hotel emergency situations as needed.
  • Represent the hotel and company in a professional manner, both in and outside of work.
  • Support Quality Assurance initiatives, striving to continuously improve guest experiences and hotel operations.
  • Ensure that the Inn at Perry Cabin philosophy is upheld, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework in leisure services or recreation sports preferred.
  • Two years of prior experience in customer service in a high-paced, detail-oriented position.
  • Ability to read, write, and type in English.
  • Knowledge of recreational programs, individual and team sports, including rules and equipment use.
  • Ability to work with others, communicate effectively, and adapt to changing situations.
  • Ability and willingness to work outside in adverse weather conditions.
