Position Overview: The role of Junior Electrical Engineer involves contributing to the design and maintenance of advanced electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains electrical systems for various clients.
  • Engages in engineering tasks related to the design and integration of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) systems and components.
  • Works collaboratively with a team of engineers and designers to produce hardware and software solutions, encompassing research, design, testing, and documentation.
  • Investigates and proposes solutions for technical engineering challenges.
  • Ensures the accuracy of product documentation, designs, layouts, or drawings.
  • Creates engineering presentations, reports, and technical documents for reviews and proposals.
  • Facilitates active communication and coordination of technical information among engineering teams.
  • Analyzes technical databases and engineering systems.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a Secret clearance (eligibility for Top Secret clearance is required).
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is essential.
  • 2-5 years of experience in engineering design and analysis is preferred.
  • Experience with testing antennas, amplifiers, and receivers is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using RF test equipment, Network Analyzers, and Spectrum Analyzers is necessary.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Strong communication skills are highly valued.
  • Familiarity with DoD C4ISR systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Military Specifications (Mil-Spec) standards is beneficial.
  • Mechanical design experience is advantageous.
  • Expertise in interconnect design and selection of COTS and Mil-Spec components is preferred.

Security Clearance: Candidates selected for this position will be required to obtain a government security clearance at the Secret level with eligibility for Top Secret clearance.
