The Levy Company is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of various projects within the construction sector. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and within budget while maintaining high standards of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Generate leads and identify potential business opportunities.
  2. Conduct pre-project awareness meetings to ensure all stakeholders are informed.
  3. Develop, monitor, and adjust project budgets, schedules, and plans as necessary.
  4. Review project contracts and specifications to ensure compliance.
  5. Act as the primary contact between the company and all project stakeholders.
  6. Document and communicate project challenges and work towards solutions.
  7. Evaluate subcontractor bids and make informed recommendations.
  8. Analyze all project-related documentation, including plans and specifications.
  9. Compile a comprehensive list of materials required for project completion.
  10. Coordinate with the Purchasing department for resource acquisition.
  11. Obtain necessary permits for project execution.
  12. Manage change orders and ensure proper implementation.
  13. Document and report on project progress and material inventory.
  14. Authorize payments for subcontractors and manage financial transactions.
  15. Maintain organized project documentation and records.
  16. Conduct regular financial reviews and present findings to management.
  17. Collaborate with project superintendents to ensure timely project delivery.
  18. Visit job sites frequently for updates and coordination.
  19. Oversee project closeout activities and conduct post-project evaluations.
  20. Facilitate utility connection processes as required.

Qualifications:

Required:

  1. A minimum of three years of experience in construction management or a related field.
  2. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  3. A valid driver's license.

Preferred:

  1. Familiarity with HCSS construction management software.
  2. Experience with Foundation enterprise systems.
  3. Knowledge of TxDOT projects.
  4. Background in electrical construction.

  2. In-depth understanding of construction contracts and industry standards.
  3. Ability to adhere to operational policies and procedures.
  4. Professional demeanor in all interactions.

  13. Proficient in interpreting technical documents and plans.

Work Environment:

This position primarily involves indoor work, with extended periods of computer use. Outdoor work may also be required, exposing the employee to various environmental factors.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  2. Frequent use of a computer.
  3. Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
  4. Visual and auditory capabilities to communicate effectively.
