Milestone Centers, a subsidiary of Partners For Quality Inc., is a nonprofit, community-based human services agency supporting individuals with behavioral health challenges and intellectual & developmental disabilities in communities throughout Western Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and assess systems of care for individuals with developmental disabilities to increase competency and capacity of behavioral health care in the community.
  • Develop and implement training to increase competency and capacity of behavioral health care in the community setting.
  • Assist with periodic clinical reviews and review of behavioral and health practices and policy development in areas defined by the lead County and MOC.
  • Coordinate review of behavior health-related risk management processes and analyze aggregate health patterns and trends with state, regional, and other HCQU staff.
  • Assist in the development of behavioral health-related outcomes to measure the effectiveness of current health care practices.
  • Assist in the development of structures and processes to maximize benefits available from HMOs and other community behavioral health resources.
  • Outreach to the behavioral health medical community to provide consultation and information regarding the HCQU.
  • Advocacy, referral, and facilitation of access to individualized needs-based behavioral health care.
  • Assist in developing and distributing behavioral health-related informational materials to individuals and families.
  • Assist with the coordination of Special Needs Units/Members Services Department of Managed Care entities to facilitate timely and successful meetings of behavioral health needs.
  • Coordinate and assist in disseminating information on behavioral health best practices by State and regional entities.
  • Facilitate collaborative relationships between agencies and local behavioral health care programs.
Requirements:
  • BSW or BS/BA in a related field with case management/behavioral health experience or equivalent in related experience or training.
  • Act 33 and Act 34 clearance and FBI background check, if applicable.
  • Valid PA Driver's license and valid Vehicle insurance and registration.
