The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Anticipate and meet the needs of guests, responding promptly to their requests
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including guest registration and room assignments
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs, handling cash and credit transactions as needed
- Communicate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless guest service
- Provide information and assistance to guests regarding hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of hotel software systems
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
