Job Summary

The Front Desk Supervisor is a key member of the hotel's front office team, responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Front Desk Manager in overseeing the front desk operations and ensuring that all guests receive a high level of service.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs, including handling room assignments and key cards.
  • Manage the front desk cash handling and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and secure.
  • Monitor and maintain the front desk area, including the lobby and guest service areas.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on hotel policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a hotel or related field, preferably in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent guest service skills and a commitment to providing a high level of service to all guests.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
