Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team at At Home Senior Care - Rutland as Overnight Caregivers in Rutland County.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care and support to seniors in their homes, including assistance with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and mobility.
  • Remind clients to take their prescribed medication and assist with ambulation, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Help clients with mobility around the house or outside, including accompanying them to doctor's appointments and engaging in physical therapy exercises.
  • Assist with meal planning and preparation, as well as perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency, prioritizing the client's safety and well-being.
  • Offer activities that promote daily living skills, such as assisting with meals, serving, and other tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • This is a per diem position, with part-time and full-time hours available.
  • Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and are eager to continuously learn and improve skills.
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
  • Available to work different shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environments (minimum of 1 year).
  • Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
  • Supportive and compassionate attitude.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver.
  • Take pride in providing high-quality care.
  • Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client).
