Our coastal kitchen in Southern California draws inspiration from the rich culinary heritage of Northern Mexico, showcasing the finest local produce and seafood to craft an extraordinary dining experience complemented by an extensive selection of Mexican wines. Guests are treated to an unforgettable meal with breathtaking ocean views.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Executive Culinary Leader will collaborate closely with the Executive Chef on menu innovation, staff training, and management of the culinary brigade. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality dishes that meet the restaurant's operational needs while enhancing the overall culinary experience. The Executive Culinary Leader will focus on daily service excellence, ensuring that every guest interaction is memorable and consistent. Required skills include precision in plating with premium ingredients, effective communication, training capabilities, and strong organizational skills. Experience with Michelin standards and authentic Mexican cuisine is highly desirable.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years in a similar leadership role within a fine dining establishment (Michelin experience is mandatory)
  • Dedication to quality, excellence, and authentic hospitality
  • Enthusiasm for crafting unique culinary experiences
  • Highly organized and self-driven, capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with guests and staff
  • Commitment to skill refinement and professional growth
  • Basic proficiency in mathematics and computer usage
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Understanding of kitchen hygiene and occupational health standards
  • Availability for weekend and holiday shifts.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Competitive salary range of $96,000 - $106,000, along with bonus opportunities and relocation assistance. Additional benefits include:
