Our Electrical Department

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our Electrical Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings. Your work will involve working with a diverse range of electrical equipment, including wiring, fixtures, switches, circuit breakers, motors, transformers, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
  • Inspect electrical components, identify issues, and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the layout of electrical wiring, circuits, and systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems, ensuring the timely and accurate resolution of issues to minimize downtime.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Identify and mitigate electrical hazards, following industry best practices and regulations.
  • Perform upgrades and modifications to existing electrical systems to meet changing needs or improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals, including contractors and engineers, to plan and complete projects.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to understand their electrical needs and provide solutions.
  • Educate team members on the proper use and maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including documentation of repairs, installations, and inspections.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possession of a valid electrician's license, in accordance with local and state regulations.
  • Completion of a recognized electrician apprenticeship program.
