Key Responsibilities- Manage the uploading, editing, downloading, and backing up of PLC programs, HMIs, and robotic code.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment issues.
- Oversee on-site contractor and integrator activities.
- Implement capital projects, including enhancements to plant systems and process equipment.
- Utilize your expertise in electrical power and controls to support operations in a continuous process environment.
- Create updated CAD drawings for plant layouts and missing components.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for improvement in manufacturing processes and equipment, focusing on risk reduction, quality enhancement, waste minimization, and productivity gains.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Experience in electrical and controls engineering within a manufacturing context (professional or internships).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in troubleshooting control systems.
- Project leadership experience.
- Familiarity with CAD software.
- Knowledge of power distribution or mechanical systems.
- Experience in a glass manufacturing environment.
