Key Responsibilities- Strategic Recruiting: Develop and execute targeted recruiting plans to support defined talent needs, drawing on business and market knowledge to inform talent decisions.
- Candidate Sourcing: Build and execute search plans, including target lists, job description review and validation, candidate assessment criteria, sourcing methodologies and tools, research, proactive cold calling and candidate development, assessment and presentation of a qualified and diverse candidate slate.
- Communication and Relationship Building: Communicate effectively with hiring managers, HR partners, and external contacts and potential candidates, ensuring a positive client and candidate experience.
- Work Prioritization and Expectation Management: Prioritize work and set appropriate expectations with hiring managers and partners, anticipating roadblocks and issues, course correcting, resetting expectations, and redirecting resources as necessary.
- Talent Assessment and Hiring: Rigorously assess talent and make hiring recommendations, developing long-term relationships with potential candidates.
- Market Intelligence and Research: Research industry competitive intelligence and analyze external market trends to inform talent and organization decisions, as well as assist with workforce planning and provide for opportunistic hiring of talent.
- Compensation and Benefits: Understand and effectively utilize comprehensive knowledge of company benefits, compensation philosophy and structure, internal equity data, candidate compensation expectations, and budget to manage hiring negotiations, including compensation recommendations, relocation, and possible counter-offers.
- Reference Checks and Background Screening: Conduct thorough references and oversee the completion of background checks on final candidates.
- Applicant Tracking System and Candidate Disposition: Fully utilize applicant tracking system and ensure appropriate candidate disposition throughout the lifecycle of the search.
- Online Recruiting Resources: Leverage online recruiting resources, including LinkedIn, community organizations, associations, etc., as one of many methods for identifying and sourcing potential leads.
- Representing the Company: Represent and differentiate to external candidates by effectively describing businesses, strategy, culture and values.
- Internal Talent Slating and Movement: Assist in the facilitation and execution of internal talent slating and movement when appropriate.
- Onboarding and Support: Assist in the orientation and onboarding of new hires.
- Vendor Management: Manage external vendors, including contract researchers, as well as contingency and retained search firms.
- Partnerships and Collaboration: Partner with Talent Acquisition Team Managers and recruiting peers to share talent, market intelligence, and best practice recruiting methodology.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent recruiting experience required.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional recruiting experience with at least 2 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience.
- Skills and Qualifications: Proven track record of developing, assessing, attracting and hiring successful executive level talent; strong business acumen with an entrepreneurial spirit and a thirst for knowledge of the business; strong change agility and flexibility; proven track record of working in a fast-paced, complex and deadline-oriented environment; strong project management, analytical and critical thinking skills; drive to deliver results, take accountability and ownership of work, and proactively strive for continuous improvement.
