Workday Managing Consultant (Payroll) Job Description

As a Workday Managing Consultant (Payroll), you will play a critical role in the successful implementation of Workday Payroll solutions for our clients. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in payroll systems and Workday deployment to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze complex business requirements and processes related to Workday Payroll deployment, and develop effective solutions to meet client needs.
  • Lead design and review sessions with technical and functional resources to ensure successful implementation of Workday Payroll.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored Workday Payroll solutions to meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the implementation process.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Workday Payroll features and functionality, and apply that knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and knowledge sharing initiatives to enhance the overall quality of our Workday Payroll solutions.
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of experience implementing payroll systems, including Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP, ADP, Oracle E-Business, Ultipro, or other SaaS software solutions.
  • Previous consulting experience, either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software organization.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in transforming business requirements into complex system configurations, with a strong understanding of payroll processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines to deliver high-quality results.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficient to advanced MS Excel skills, with the ability to transform data and create complex reports.
  • Workday HCM and/or Payroll certification required.
  • This opportunity does not offer sponsorship.
  • Ability to travel up to 40%.
Education:

Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or financial discipline or relevant field of study required.
