The SIE IT – Corporate Applications division is responsible for implementing, enhancing, and supporting the products and services that are vital to PlayStation's operational success. We are in search of a seasoned and proactive Global Director to lead and oversee the delivery of technical solutions, ensuring that the platform consistently meets the global business requirements. You will engage with business partners to identify and articulate how technical solutions can be realized. This involves gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing business needs while collaborating with both business and technical teams to design, agree upon, and coordinate the delivery of solutions that align with the overarching business strategy.

Your experience should reflect these values and competencies:

  • Proven technical expertise in SAP ERP S/4 HANA, with substantial hands-on experience in product implementation and ongoing support.
  • Experience in delivering effective technical assistance to business users within a complex, interconnected system landscape.
  • Successful navigation through the entire lifecycle of technology-driven change: from defining requirements to solution design, development, testing, and transition to live operations.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP module configuration across a variety of ERP implementations.
  • A comprehensive understanding of areas such as:
  • Supply chain and logistics within a fast-paced Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment.
  • Product data management, including Bill of Materials.
  • Data interfaces and system integration, including EDI and IDOC interfaces between SAP MM/SD and third-party systems.
  • Key integration points across SD/MM/Purchasing/FICO.
  • Sales and Purchase to Pay processes, requisition release strategies, and SAP PO and inventory functionalities.
  • Warehouse operations and processes.
  • Effective collaboration with offshore and nearshore service providers.
  • Experience with ITIL, Prince2, and Agile methodologies.
  • Engagement with a diverse range of partners and stakeholders within a matrix organization.
  • Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills, comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders and willing to challenge them with sound reasoning.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong decision-making abilities.
  • Self-motivated and highly organized, capable of maintaining focus and composure under pressure and shifting priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with tools such as:
  • Issue Tracking (e.g., JIRA, Service Now)
  • Collaboration (e.g., Confluence, Trello)
  • Communication (e.g., Slack, Webex, Skype for Business)
  • Experience working within compliance-based environments (particularly Sarbanes-Oxley) is advantageous.

Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience with SAP.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to decompose complex tasks into manageable objectives for troubleshooting and solution development.
  • Capability to gather and synthesize intricate business requirements to formulate comprehensive proposals for desired solutions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with end users, business leaders, technical developers, and representatives from third-party organizations.
