Position Overview:

The Trust Officer plays a crucial role in managing personal trust, estate, custody, investment agency, and IRA accounts. This position ensures the administration of assigned accounts aligns with governing documents, applicable regulations, and fiduciary standards consistent with BOK Financial policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer accounts in accordance with governing instruments, federal regulations, and state laws.
  • Maintain proactive relationships with clients, collaborating with Customer Service Associates, Managers, and other Private Wealth team members to meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Coordinate with Tax, Specialty Assets, Investment Management, and external advisors to resolve client and administrative issues efficiently.
  • Adhere to corporate risk and compliance guidelines, identifying and reporting instances of non-compliance.
  • Stay informed on state and federal tax, probate, trust laws, and investment strategies to provide informed guidance.
  • Analyze complex information to effectively address challenges and client concerns.
  • Keep management informed of any client risk issues or potential legal matters.
Qualifications:

This role typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience in Personal Trust or 6-8 years of experience in a similar capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proven experience managing medium to large client accounts.
  • Strong understanding of estate plans, trust documents, trust and probate law, taxes, and investment principles.
  • Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal capabilities.
