About the Role

InsideHigherEd is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to join our team. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching courses in accounting and related fields to our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach one or more courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi.
  • Conduct live lectures and engage with students in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Grade assignments and provide feedback to students.
  • Report final grades and collect assessment data as required.
  • Support the mission and vision of InsideHigherEd.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in accounting or a related field with CPA, CMA, or other accounting certification.
  • Doctorate in accounting or a related field preferred.
  • Previous teaching experience, both face-to-face and online.
  • Strong technological aptitude and knowledge of Canvas, Big Blue Button, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong history of relational approach in the classroom.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Five years or more industry experience.
  • Professional experience and teaching experience in both face-to-face and online environments.

Working Conditions

Work is normally performed in a typical classroom environment or online as assigned.
