Position Overview:

Our institution is seeking a qualified Science Teacher to join our educational team. This role involves creating a nurturing and engaging classroom environment that fosters empathy, emotional well-being, resourcefulness, and independent critical thinking, while addressing the unique academic and emotional needs of each student through Fusion's tailored educational approach.

Compensation: $34.00 per hour USD

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized instruction in Math, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for students in grades 6-12.
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt and differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners, fostering holistic development.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records for both students and instructional activities.
  • Cultivate and sustain positive, consistent communication with parents and fellow educators.
  • Actively participate in and contribute to the campus community.
  • Uphold professionalism through continuous professional development, self-reflection, and improvement.
  • Engage in significant mentoring of students in addition to subject-specific tutoring.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including tutoring part-time students.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree is essential, along with a strong background in Science.
  • Proficient knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for grades 6-12.
  • Teaching credentials are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience working with students with learning differences and ADHD is beneficial, as is mentoring experience.
  • The ideal candidate should be outgoing, organized, proficient in basic computer skills, and eager to thrive in a dynamic educational environment.
  • Candidates must be ready to teach and tutor high school-level material immediately.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with students through patience and compassion.
  • Ability to manage stress and maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations, demonstrating strong teamwork and organizational skills.
